MARS is delighted to have Cassie on as a new member of our team. Cassie graduated from Luther College with a BA in Sociology, Social Welfare and Spanish. Her previous experience is rooted in examining middle and high school discipline policies, developing and implementing restorative practices and structures, and building a positive and equitable school environment. Informed by this experience, Cassie recognizes the impact a punitive and inequitable education & justice system can have on youth and how a restorative approach to discipline encourages accountability and repair and empowers individuals to pursue and accomplish their goals. She firmly believes in the importance of individual narratives and focuses on establishing courageous space for her clients. Cassie encourages participants to embrace their own story and experience and strives to create a space rooted in individual growth, accountability, connection and making amends. Welcome Cassie!
